Last December 5 to 7, we were at Ayala Cebu Activity Center to participate CIE’s Social Enterprise 2011.
We would like to thank CIE for this opportunity! We also like to thank the team, the Alipe’s for the cute projector, and the people who checked out our booth.. Thank you all so much!
It was fun meeting new people and appreciating SpellDial :)
For those people who got shocked that their faces were on the big screen, we are not really sorry.. Hahaha!

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay!
Here’s the explanation of our new logo! It took us a long time to figure out what our new logo would be since Google+ came up with a “+” for their new social network. For now (Hehe!), we can’t compete with Google. And I am not sure if we want to compete at all. Anyway, so we have to think of something else that everytime people see it they know it’s SpellDial. :D
We wanted something that people can type using their keyboard.. We thought of #, %, *, and many more… after hours and days of thinking.. we took a break until finally, Albert thought of something.. He took a marker and wrote my numbers, emails, and other online accounts on the white board.. then wrote a big arrow.. then wrote my SpellDial name after it… so there..
All your contact information can be one in SpellDial. It is not really a greater than sign.. it is more of an arrow that points to your SpellDial name.

Albert’s GAE workshop
We are proud of you! Great job!
Last July 9, 2011 we held the first ever (I think) Google App Engine Workshop in Cebu City. Everyone was so excited about it that slot reservations even ran out less than 24 hours after they were released. We held it at Exist’s TechBar at IT Park.
